Interview completed with former Detroit Lions TE Derek Price
Last night, we finished our interview with one of our roommates, former Tight End Derek Price, who came to Iowa from Tempe, Arizona. He played two seasons at Iowa in 1994 and 1995, and played one season in the NFL with the Detroit Lions. The interview was very entertaining, I think you will really enjoy this one! Former punter Nick Gallery and former kicker Brion Hurley interview past Iowa Hawkeye football players, coaches and staff to learn about their experiences and favorite stories.
Brion and Nick interview their first special teams coach at Iowa, Dave Triplett. He played at Iowa as an All-Big Ten wide receiver from 1968-1971, and was a graduate assistant coach for Frank Lauterbur (FXL) during the 1972 football season. He later returned to Iowa as an assistant coach from 1989 thru 1993 under Hayden Fry, coaching tight ends, running backs, and specialists.
